The Scribe
Scribe message monitor is a self-contained paging receiver and printer interface for the printing of paging messages. The Scribe decodes paging messages simultaneously on Flex, POCSAG 512, 1200 and 2400 networks. Paging messages are printed in a convenient format including the day, date and time, in addition to a user defined reference - such as a name or user code.
The Scribe paging decoder may be used in conjunction with a pager, simultaneously printing the paging message. Alternatively, Scribe can replace pagers completely while retaining the efficiency and economy of reliable paging technology. Management applications of the Scribe include confirmation of paging message dispatch to staff in addition to centralized logging of all paging messages sent to field personnel for audit purposes.
Beyond its basic printing function, Scribe provides an economical way of delivering low volume data to a large number of destinations simultaneously. For example, broadcasting price-book updates to branch offices.
